Modern Wedding Ideas & Inspiration

I love weddings, but wedding ideas these days are two a penny, and often they're the same old, same old style. They're drab, forgetful and indifferent. A big puffy wedding dress, the Moss Bros hire suit and a sense of formality that doesn't suit the couple tying the knot. It doesn't have to be that way, there is another way and that's simply doing things differently.

You don't have to have that identi-kit wedding and you don't have to follow the crowd. You can simply let your personality shine in your wedding dress, venue or theme, and you can still have a day that you'll be proud of (and feel a lot more comfortable with). So don't be ushered down the path of the middle road, take a step to the left or a step to the right and join in the fun with the uniqueness of wedding ideas that are slightly left of centre.

I don't know about you, but I'm bored of all the twee, sameness of weddings and get elated when I see a wedding that does something a little different (in fact I jump for joy). Whether it's a different style wedding dress, a quirky wedding theme, an emotional ceremony or a venue that screams individuality, you can make your wedding day yours and completely unique.

I love to see a person's creatively, their DIY skills and their artistic talents shine and what better way to do it then with their own wedding.

It creates a uniqueness that no one else can copy and a memory that even time simply can't fade (arh).
