A recent conversation about alternatives to wedding tiaras led me to Chez Bec, a wedding accessory company that specialises in headbands, headpieces and hair pins. Their collection is a refreshing change from the usual indistinguishable tiaras that many brides wear and is bang on trend with the trend of vintage.
I personally love the headbands and hairpieces that are around at the moment. They create such an elegant look, but can also allow a bride to have lots of fun too, especially the ones with feathers, fabric flowers and short veils.
Chez Bec's collection of tiaras has been specially designed with consideration to the latest trends.
There are plenty of vintage accents, including 1930s, 1940s and 1950s - all incredibly glamorous and perfect to match the ruffles and embellished flowers that are going to be the lastest trend.
Chez Bec launched the Luxe Collection which include a range of birdcage veils and more headbands.
The range is divine and I just wish they'd been around when I got married. For now, here are my favourites from the current collection:

Seriously, save the traditional tiaras for your little girl's dress-up trunk, and get a little more creative with your hair accessories. There are lots of fun alternatives to wedding hair style tiaras ranging from semi-traditional to totally modern, so you can get something different that suits your personality, dress and hairstyle.
